Madam Russo

Meet… Madam Russo

Madam Russo is a black cat, born and raised by the street. Probably not the smartest cookie in town, very surprisingly, Madam Russo has never lost an argument. Though she has never read a book on debate skills, Madam Russo has mastered the street equivalent of those: loud voice, confrontational nature and a ‘Z finger snap’ (That’s right, Girlfriend!).

Such a talent could not have gone unnoticed and back in the old days Madam Russo, paired up with Bear Murphy, used to do debt collection on behalf of Papa Love.

When Madam Russo was not working for Papa Love she used to work as a freelancer in the customer service industry…practicing the oldest profession in the world.

A less known fact is that Madam’s working name ‘Russo’ actually comes from the name of the great French philosopher Jean-Jacques Rousseau. Madam wanted a name for herself that would sound posh and exotic; however she never really figured out its correct spelling (we don’t blame her – we still struggle with words like Bordeaux and Peugeot).

But let’s leave the past where it belongs – behind our backs. As with any job, a time comes to retire. Madam decided to part up with the street life and joined the Unemployed Cartoon Characters (UCC) in a search for a new profession. She explains there are 2 reasons which prompted her choice.

First, the street has been tough to her all her life and she is not an isolated case. That is why Madam Russo would like to take part in advertising campaigns which raise awareness around sensitive issues that most people find difficult to talk openly about: prostitution, human trafficking, homelessness and drug abuse. Madam Russo says that she cannot change her past, but she can help change someone else’s future.

Second, Madam Russo firmly believes that her body is like a heavenly masterpiece created by a genius and it will be a shame to keep it hidden away from the world. As she puts it in her own words: them buns are too hot not to be in Hollywood.

Madam Russo has a sweet tooth and by the look of her dress a few stitches have given way to some winter-fat pressure. Her clothes are a few sizes smaller that they ought to be, yet Madam adores looking at herself in the mirror. She is no skinny model but she is a model and she would like to be hired for commercials which encourage people to love and take care of their bodies.
