Meet… Papa Love
Charismatic and a bit cheeky, Papa Love is still trapped in the good old 70s (along with his taste for fashion). Quite an influential figure of the cartoon underground world, in 1978 he eventually secured himself a place in the ‘prestigious’ State Prison until 2011, when he was rehabilitated back into society.
Papa Love went to prison accompanied by his right hand man – But Weasel – whose loyalty (and unique talent to save people’s as**s from sticky situations) made the two of them friends for life.
During his time in prison, being immersed in the outcast pool of society, Papa Love makes two important findings: First ‘a soap on a rope’ is a must for any self-respecting gentleman. Second, that the world is a bad enough place without his personal contribution.
But it is not until Papa Love gets released from prison that he realises how right he was: the good old streets which he used to milk like a Swiss cow are now left dry like a desert, riddled with unemployment, double-dip recession and cheesy teenage pop hits (whatchacallem…that Bieber thing).
Papa Love’s racketeering heart skipped a beat – where is the world going? The new age greed seemed to have no boundaries. Being a greedy jerk wasn’t macho anymore, it wasn’t hard core or cool; living like a normal person, having a job and trying to meet both ends – that was the new hard-core.
And now Papa Love is about to show how tough and hard core he can be…by joining the UCC Team and looking for some nice company to employ him for a cereal or insurance ad – doesn’t matter – he is up for anything as long as it is legal and there is no nudity.
Papa Love has lost the bad in him, but he has kept the glint in the eye, the positive spirit and some funny cheeky old habits – that is what adds a true Papa Love signature to the product.
